Photography has played a part in my life since 1981.  Then of course film was the only medium.   In 2024 the creative limitations of film over digital photography lured me back

Film over digital is not a case of better or worse, it is simply another way to record light.

 

However, part of the decision on that image is made by the film choice before a shot it taken.

The images shown are 6x6 medium format taken on an early 1970’s TLR (twin lens reflex) camera.

12 frames per roll, a welcomed self-imposed creative limitation, gladly slowing down the process of taking a photograph.
